Friday 28th November - walks ***** – Ipswich Waterfront – sunny periods.

Mag came home from her early walk and said there might be a decent sunrise so I nipped out in the van to check it out just after 7. It did not look great but it did improve, I drove to the cliff top carpark but returned to the beach huts at Brackenbury car park before returning to park at the bottom of the pram walk where I got my best pics and was lucky enough to get one on BBC’s Look East lunchtime programme.
Being Friday Mag went round to pick Maeva up for the start of another brilliant day, while I packed our picnic Maeva ate her favourite crackers and did some stickers. I was not sure where to go for our picnic in the van and we were taking Maeva’s new balance bike somewhere? I thought it might be a good idea to drive over to Ipswich and hope to park at the end of the waterfront where there are a few spaces! We were lucky and got the last place right by the water to lunch opposite the old cranes in Ipswich docks and had had a great picnic:) We then got Maeva’s bike out as the paths here are perfect for biking, flat and smooth and car free! She was an absolute star and loved her ride covering nearly a mile in the sunshine:) We got as far as the old wooden barge before turning, loved a small section of path with a couple of small ramps so had to do 10 curcuits!!! Maeva was now in the buggy but we had to swing every chain fence, great fun it was too! We then made a stop at Sports Direct for some waterproof walking shoes but once again they were too narrow but Maeva enjoyed her time in the shop sorting out the kids football boots, at least Maeva got a bell for her new bike!
